This piece is a journey of renewal-- The Sangre de Cristo mountains in the San Luis Valley, are an icy sapphire in the mornings, reflecting the night sky as it fades. As the world wakes, we find ourselves brimming with excitement for the adventures that await us. The light changes and we find ourselves welcomed into their loving mountainous heart. When we have exhausted our wanderlust and emerge, renewed from their embrace, we have the unbelievable luck to bask in the ruby glow of the setting sun over our beautiful and rugged home.
